Product of The Week | 005

It’s been a while since I have shared a new product of the week with you all, and I’ll admit that. That being said, I’ll be featuring two products in today’s post that I absolutely can’t stop raving over.

So, I’ve used a few Colourpop products in the past, however they were all things that I had received in one of my monthly makeup subscription boxes (either Boxycharm or Ipsy’s Glam Bag Plus).

Until just recently, I had never actually purchased anything directly from Colourpop. But I have to say, I am now really impressed with this brand.

Specifically, I am blown away with Colourpop’s selection of pressed eyeshadows because they have a large variety of really unique shades.

And let me just add, one of my major pet peeves is the fact that so many eyeshadow palettes have the same exact colors and it’s difficult to find new shades that you don’t already have.

Anyway, I had been on the hunt for some light purple shades, both matte and shimmery, and I was struggling to find exactly what I wanted. That’s when I found myself browsing through Colourpop’s shadow collection and discovered not only exactly what I was looking for, but even more shades that I had never seen anywhere else.

I ended up purchasing multiple pans of shadows, but the two that I’ve fallen totally in love with are the shades Heiress and Fault Line

I have always adored how an eye look is taken to a whole new level with the use of white liner on the waterline. It brightens the eyes, making them appear larger, and results in a bolder look overall.

To be honest though, I haven’t had the opportunity to try out many different white eyeliners. However, I don’t think I’ll need to continue searching for one after using Colourpop’s White Exit Liner.

This gel liner looks pure white, even on the waterline, and it lasts almost all day without the need to reapply. I’ve literally used it every day, and I can’t get over how much I love the way it brings my entire makeup look together.

Overall, Colourpop is a great makeup brand with affordable high quality products, and I definitely recommend that you try them out if you haven’t already.
